       According to national standard (GB50312-2007) Code for Engineering Design of Generic Cabling System, great importance has been attached to the cabling; rational installation for cabling frame and circuit arrangement for heavy and light power supply are of significance to the cabling; meanwhile, the cabling is a vital basis for the acceptance of works. Thus it can be seen that the importance of cabling is self-evident.

       With the continuous development of technologies, more and more electronic products are emerged and the problem on the cabling of the console is more and more concerned. Rationality of the cabling of the console is directly linked with the working efficiency of the equipment. Due to a fact that the traditional console has complex cabling without the rational cabling and fixed components, the normal rotation of the equipment can be ensured by the rational cabling. And consequently, the requirements of the cabling on the console will play a vital role.

       Rational cabling frames have been made according to different console so that the power cord and data cable can be perpendicular to each other and enter a cabling channel in parallel; in this way, both signal radiation loss of the cables and radiation interference to the surroundings are reduced. Moreover, considering the strong power supply will interfere with the weak power supply, both strong power supply and weak power supply shall be arranged separately. In general, the distance between the strong power supply cabling frame and weak power supply cabling frame is 300-500mm.

       The cabling frame of the console includes bridged cabling frame and bundled cabling frame. The cabling frame will be selected based on the working environment.

       Earthing of the console is frequently neglected in design of the console. The console without earthing is difficult to ensure the safety of the operator, equipment and data. The console is not only acted as the workplace for the computer equipment, but also protects the computer, network equipment and computer data security. Owing to that the large-scale integrated circuit is employed by the modern computer, the resistances to electromagnetic interferences, overvoltages and overcurrents are reduced greatly. Static electricity, electric leakage, direct lightning stroke, indirect lightning strike and the like can damage the security of the equipment and data which is even irreversible. With the large-scale integrated circuit in modern computer, the precision is extremely high and the resistances to the electromagnetic interferences, overvoltages and overcurrents are reduced correspondingly. Any of static electricity, electric leakage and lightning strike can pose a danger to the semiconductor integrated circuit. The hazard of the static electricity and the static electricity on the computer are embodied on the large-scale integrated circuit and data security in general. Because the semiconductor components are extremely sensitive to the static electricity, breakdown failure of the semiconductor components also might occur to damage the integrated circuit and the computer equipment even though the strength of the static electricity is not great. Therefore, the earthing must be considered in the design of the console. The earthing points are arranged on the framework, front door and back door of each console so as to fully ensure the safety of the operator, equipment and data.
